Mesh expansion

I was wondering if it is possible in Mimics to generate a volume mesh with expansion factor, i.e. growing from small elements near the surface to bigger elements inside. If so, is it possible to set this expansion factor?

Expension factor

Currently the create volume mesh operation will only take the Maximum Edge Length as input parameter. The transition from small elements near the surface to bigger elements will be rather immediate. We therefore advice to choose the maximum edge length, for creating the volume mesh, similar to the maximum edge length used during the auto-remesh and as such create a uniform mesh.
We are continuously improving our surface re-meshing and volume mesh generator. We will definitely take into account your suggestion.
