Installing Mimics 13.1--Windows 7 Pro

I am an IT Pro with no working knowledge of Mimics 13.1 32-bit software.
I am simply trying to install the software in a lab for a professor using
Windows 7 Pro-32-bit with all updates installed. The video card if it matters
is an Nvidia Geforce 9300. The processor is Intel Core 2 Duo.
The error I get is Microsoft.vc80.crt.version=8.0.50727.4053, type=win32,
public key token=ifc8b3b9a1e18e3b, processor architecture="x86"
and Mimics fails in it's install. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

The redistributables that are installed with Mimics 13.1 can conflict with the redistributables installed togethere with Win7. We have overcome this problem in the Mimics 14.0 installer. This release is currently in Beta and can already be installed. Soon the official release will be made available.
